The Evolution of Revolution

I was tasked to create a poster for the fictional, “Museum of Ordinary Things,” or MOOT.

My exhibit is dedicated to the creation of the wheel and its evolution over time.

For the posters concept, I wanted to create juxtaposition that caught people’s attention. The idea struck me to replace a ferris wheel with that of a car’s tire and rim. It’s a subtle difference, but enough to be visually interesting.

When sketching ideas, I was trying to find some sort of visual contrast that would draw the viewer in.

Eventually I came up with the idea to replace a ferris wheel with the tire and rim from a car.
