Eruption Music Festival
Poster design
Festival poster done for my print production class. I took inspiration from type heavy posters done in the 70s.
The concept is an erupting volcano, with the main festival type taking a liquid volcanic form.
A physical three-dimensional poster was also made in tangent with this.

Created with card stock paper, tape, and lots of glue.
The final product was 23 x 18 inches.

Each layer was elevated by paper cylinders which were stacked on top of each other, parking lot style.
There were 3 layers in total.

Like other heavy metal posters, I wanted to create something with crazy typography. My final concept was a volcano eruption.
